Fashion from 50 is simply fun – especially together! On Sunday we spontaneously decided to just take a little blue and unanimously agreed: We are absolutely ready for summer!
Experience teaches us that the individual colors create a special mood.Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
The choice of our outfits is probably not entirely innocent. Goethe already fell for the power of colors in the 18th century and dealt intensively with their meaning in his scientific writings on color theory. Even if he probably thought less of blue blouses, dresses and jumpsuits, the effect of this color remains the same.
Blue is probably the most commonly worn color, and yet it is always surprising what effect it can spark in the right combination.
Casual fashion for women over 50
Whether the classic blouse in soft blue, a casual dress in strong cobalt or a jumpsuit with a blue pattern – this color is always the perfect choice for every woman of every age. My mother’s „blue make-look“ is a classic: light blue blouse with white trousers with boot cut. In addition, a classic black ankle boot and a couple of creoles from her vintage stock and her stylish day outfit fits.
Blue dresses for women over 70
My grandmother wears a knee-length, cobalt blue dress with 3/4 sleeves. She loves expressive colors , but always takes great care to dress appropriately for her age. The dress fits loosely and still flatters your figure. What is particularly important to her at the age of 84: Her clothes have to be practical. That is definitely this dress and is ideally rounded off with flat pumps and her striking glasses.
We are ready for you, summer!
We have definitely got in the mood for the most beautiful time of the year with our „blue make-up looks“. I’ve also felt my way towards summer with my white jumpsuit with a blue pattern and have found great joy in these uncomplicated and light looks. From now on, the joy increases from day to day, soon to conjure up even more colorful outfits out of our closets and to finally be able to wear them again in summer temperatures.
